Rebibbia, Italy's largest high-security prison, houses convicts with lengthy jail terms. Mafia members, criminals, and traffickers, most of them never entered a theatre. However, a performance hall, quite unusual in a prison facility, welcomes them three times a week to introduce them to theater. Laura Andreini Salerno convinced them to leave their cells for a unique experience: to put together a play to perform in front of their fellow inmates and wardens.
