Let the Days Unfold | دعِ الأيّام | Imam al-Shafi'i

Let the Days Unfold ( دعِ الأيّام ) is a timeless poem attributed to Imam al-Shafi'i (رحمه الله), one of the greatest scholars in Islamic history.

Its verses remind us to place our trust in Allah, remain patient through every trial, and find peace in His decree. The poem teaches that worldly hardships are temporary, that true honor lies in generosity and steadfastness, and that contentment with Allah's provision is a greater treasure than worldly wealth.

Each line is a reminder that every difficulty passes, every blessing is from Allah, and every soul will ultimately return to Him. It is a call to live with dignity, patience, and unwavering tawakkul.

May Allah grant us hearts that are content with His decree, steadfast in hardship, and grateful in ease.
